Jon Brantingham
Growing up in Taiwan, Jon learned Mandarin as a child and has always felt most at home in Asia. He spent his university years in the US, but quickly returned to Taiwan to work in business.
He currently serves as the group managing director of Brantingham Manufacturing (BMF) which is a global manufacturing company. He has also been an active community member who has served on the boards of Concordia International School Shanghai, Community Center Shanghai and Home Sweet Home. Jon is an out of the box thinker who enjoys problem solving and casting vision for organizations. He also has a passion for basketball, running and golf.
Nathan Brantingham
​Graduating from George Fox University in 2021, Nathan joined the BMF Foundation team out of that. Growing up in the Brantingham family his heart for missions work is evident as he has just moved to South Africa to help manage local projects in southern Africa. After graduating, Nathan spent two years working with the Mosaic Church Youth in Los Angeles and is now working Brantingham Manufacturing and volunteering at a local church’s youth in South Africa. We’ve enjoyed having him on the team and can’t wait for the future.
Judy Brantingham
Judy was born and raised in California, but spent the next 30 years in Asia. Her first 11 years were in Taiwan, where she taught English, learned Chinese, met her husband and started her family. In 2001, she, her husband and two kids moved to Shanghai to focus on their growing business. Shanghai became home for the next 19 years. They raised their five children in the international community and gained so much from the cross-cultural experiences and relationships. Their home was a revolving door of guests from around the world! Judy has expertise in education and child rearing and has worked as an advocate to highlight the plight of those caught in modern slavery. She and her family cherish all the connections and opportunities to serve throughout Asia and Africa.
Esmé Warne
Esmé is a South African, who has 30 years of experience in humanitarian work in Africa and Asia. She loves the impoverished and delights in giving them a voice, as well as sourcing a way out for those trapped in systemic poverty. She enjoys connecting groups of people from different nations to projects and partners 'on the ground'. She has been a part of, pioneered and led multiple international short term service trips. She and her husband Brad, have been living in China since 2010. They have twin daughters, Caitlyn and Abigail.
Kendall Mthembu
Born and raised in South Africa, Kendall aims to be a beacon of hope and change in her community. She has lead and taught at an English literacy program, pouring her heart into educating and empowering the next generation. With a deep-seated passion for children and a vision for restoring the lives of the impoverished, her mission is to equip the underprivileged with the tools they need to thrive, while breaking the cycle of poverty. She and her husband, Sfundo, currently reside in Kloof, South Africa.
