As a continuation of our support of Umdoni Christian Academy’s new science center, we are supporting the salary of a science teacher who is greatly helping the students get full benefit from the center and enjoyment from learning.
Mrs Subramoney, the high school science teacher says: “Working in a science lab is a dream come true. It has been a great aid in teaching and learning. I have developed new skills and a greater passion for teaching. Being able to cultivate a culture of lifelong learning in others has always been my goal. UCA has afforded me the privilege of making this goal attainable. I love seeing the look of amazement on learners faces when they enter the science lab! These are just some of the things that make my job fulfilling.”
